1. What is the meaning of Grassroots sport for you?

Grassroots sport is such a slogan for us, that means a participated approach to the sport, where everyone can feel qualified and where everyone can express themselves freely.

Practically is the way to give eachone, that is different for age, gender, ability and race, to get involved. Our most important aims that we want to increase in grassroots sport are mainly educational, social and also preventives.

    2. How do you define Good governance as general concept? (see also the draft definitions in the seperate file) How do you define Good Governance when referred to the Grassroots sport?

Good Governance: increase and accessibility for every member to our club opportunities.

In our organization the key principles are Democracy and Transparency, but often it’s not so easy to find which are the Good governance of democracy and transparency…

Our organisations’ priorities are the support and the continuity of our values, both through our activities and also through the persons who want to share them during the growth within Masi Sport Club.

We also suggest a good correspondence between quality of the services and costs. Our sport activities are not finalized to the agonism, infact our most important aims are educational and social: we believe in grassroots sport as a way of personal growth.

We also suggest different proposal to give answers to the different requirements of our members: we want to make them feel good in our club.

        4. What kind of skills and experiences should »board members – political leaders in sport« have to meet the requirements and principles of  Good Governance?

Board members and political leaders should follow these principles of Good Governance:  believe in sport value as a way to prevent social unease, consider sport as a way to  make prevention  and to improve the Citizens' quality of life.

Board members need also managerial capacity to organize volunteers.
