ISCA CALLS FOR APPLICANTS TO BECOME A EUROPEAN VOLUNTEER IN ISCA 2018-2019!
ISCA is looking for 3 volunteers to join the team in the Copenhagen office for a period of 12 months starting 01 March 2018.
If you wish to live abroad, work in an international environment, and gain experience in the field of international physical activity promotion and youth work, then this is your opportunity! We are searching for self-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic young people who will join our team in Copenhagen.
Experience something new, broaden your horizons and develop your skills. Apply now and become an EVS volunteer with The International Sport and Culture Association (ISCA) in Denmark. Even moreso, you are warmly welcomed to a family of sorts - the ISCA family, full of ISCA spirit!
As indicated in the Erasmus plus programme guide, volunteers should be between 17 and 30 years old, and resident in the country of their sending organisation (from EU Programme countries and Partner countries neighbouring the EU, see programme guide for more details).
Engagement of European Volunteers
All volunteers will have the opportunity to be engaged in a number of projects, campaigns and events. ISCA is coordinating various activities in promotion of sport and physical activity on regional and international level. ISCA also engages many member organisations and other partners in diverse projects of key issues and topics.
In specific, you will be part of the pan-European NowWeMOVE campaign organised by ISCA and its partners. Your main task will be to support and implement project activities in connection with member organisations all over Europe. You can find a few examples of our initiatives below and in relevant links:

- MOVE Congress
- European Fitness Day
- European Week of Sport in Denmark

Additionally, you will be part of ISCA team coordinating projects and activities in externally funded projects in cooperation with member organisations and other partners. Some of the projects fall within topics with present priority such as physical activity and health, physical activity and education, health-enhancing physical activity, sport and physical activity for disadvantaged groups, physical activity in urban facilities, inclusion of refugees through sport, youth training, and active ageing.

ISCA will provide the accomodation (shared apartment with separate rooms), lunch in the office, a Danish SIM card, a bicycle, and a monthly public transport card. You will also receive pocket money.
You will be able to get involved and challenge yourself in various tasks such as:
- Physical activity and healthy lifestyle promotion;
- Event organisation;
- Communication and marketing;
- Analysis and reporting;
- Fundraising and advocacy;
- Project management;
- Financial management.
The applicants should be highly motivated, proactive, and dynamic young people. For this round knowledge and experience, or interests in:
- media / communications / event planning,
- project management,
- finance (will be a plus).
