UISP GIOCAGIN 2007 FOR UNICEF AND PEACEGAMES
START UP ON FEBRUARY 3rd FROM FLORENCE. THE MANIFESTATION WILL INVOLVE 60 ITALIAN TOWNS UNTIL JUNE
The 2007 edition of “Spring of solidarity and sportforall” will start up with Giocagin and will involve two hundred Italian towns, followed in next months by Vivicittà, Bicincittà and other national events until the summer.
Since February until June 2007 Sportforall will be protagonist of XIII edition of Giocagin, national manifestation organized by Uisp with High Patronage of President of Italian Republic, Youth Politics and Sport Activities Ministry, Environment and Soil and Sea Safeguard Ministry.
The event propose himself like a tool able to make aware and rich found for two projects: Unicef world campaign “United for children, united against Aids” and PeaceGames support for the nursery in refugees camp Shu’fat (Jerusalem).
The awareness that every minute of every day a child in the world dies for HIV pushed Uisp to support actions able to fight this curse.
Concerning the second project, Peacegames works since two years in Shu’fat to offer to young people of the Camp an educative and advances space. A short time ago the first action concluded, financed also thanks Giocagin 2006. Participants will be young and old people amusing in dance and gym shows in the 60 towns involved.
The start up is counted for February 3rd in Florence, while the conclusive event will carry out in Benevento.
The success of Giocagin is yearly confirmed by the enthusiastic and many participation, as the collection of last twelve editions can prove: 634834 euros.
