Three easy ways to support the first worldwide No Elevators Day
Physical activity ambassadors across the world: we invite you to participate in the first worldwide No Elevators Day on 25 April 2018.
ISCA introduced No Elevators Day to its line-up of NowWeMOVE campaign events in 2015, and in 2017 it had gained so much support that it not only became a trending topic on Twitter*, but it was also “unofficially” celebrated in Colombia, in Latin America, by an archbishop (#Ahoratomamoslasescaleras)!
So this year we’re making it official. No Elevators Day is going global.
How can you take part? It couldn’t be easier:
- Follow our news announcements and social media channels (ISCA Facebook page and ISCA Tweet) for updates
- Visit our website and check out our pre-made designs, download them and customise them to your event
- Share your actions with the world on 25 April 2018 on social media using the hashtag #NoElevatorsDay
Be a stair-climbing champion and help defuse the inactivity time bomb
Wherever you live, if you’re working in a busy office or on your daily commute, you (and your colleagues) will most likely be faced with the tempting option to zip up the elevator or escalator rather than taking the stairs. Why not break out of the routine, lead by example and raise some awareness about how to add some extra steps and a cardio boost to an average work day.
