Survey on active citizenship among prisoners

ISCA member UISP invites participants to take part in a survey on active citizenship among prisoners as part of the Prisoner Active Citizens project by 10 May 2018. The goal of the project is to test various existing or new participation models in different European prisons and to develop a participation toolkit based on these experiences.
UISP is participating as partner, due to its long experience with sport initiatives inside prisons, and the project is coordinated by the Belgian association De Rode Antraciet.
Before setting up these projects and developing the toolkit, we are looking for initiatives that are taken in European countries to involve prisoners as active citizens. In this project, we consider prisoners as active citizens when they make positive contributions to prison life or the wider community.
We would kindly ask if your organisation works in this field, to fill in our online survey on behalf of the prison in which you are working.
The questionnaire could be fulfilled by sport educators working in prison, administrative staff of the prisons and the prisoners itself.
The survey is available in the 5 languages: English, French, Croatian, Dutch, and Italian. You can select the appropriate language after clicking on the link. It takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete the survey. You can fill it in until the 10th of May 2018.
