Plan ahead for the seventh edition of MOVE Week Save the dates: 28 May-3 June
Registration is open for MOVE Week 2018 events, and five countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Serbia and Turkey) have already got the ball rolling.
The seventh edition of the European MOVE Week takes place from 28 May-3 June and is the flagship event of the NowWeMOVE campaign, which started in 2012 with a vision of getting 100 million more Europeans more active by 2020.
But MOVE Week has not only got people moving on one continent. The event has also taken off in Latin America, where 13 countries offered more than 15,000 events combined in September 2017 (latest update from the ISCA annual report). MOVE Week Latin America (Semana Muévela) will return again in September this year.
MOVE Week events can take any form, from large-scale mass participation days to small community activities. Check out the range of MOVE Week 2017 activities from A to Z.
ISCA will kick off an active summer with a MOVE Week study tour to Plovdiv in Bulgaria for partners and guests of the MOVEment Spaces project from 31 May to 2 June. Plovdiv is a city where MOVE Week has grown from strength to strength, and Bulgarian National Coordinator BG Be Active has succeeded to continue its partnership with the Municipal Foundation Plovdiv 2019 (Capital of Culture) and MOVE Week is part of the official Capital of Culture projects and celebration.
