Mr Jacob Schouenborg is appointed to new secretary general

Mr Jacob Schouenborg is appointed as new secretary general for International sport and Culture Association - ISCA .
Jacob Schouenborg holds a MSc. (Master of Political Science) and studied Sport and Politics at Copenhagen University in 2005. He has been personal secretary to the Danish Minister of Culture Mr Brian Mikkelsen for the last two and a half years. Before that he was project manager in ISCA combined with secretary general of the Nordic Youth Associations NSU. In 2001-2004 Jacob Schouenborg worked as civil servant in the Danish Ministry of Culture.
“I am looking very much forward to this big challenge ahead of me. Sport for All has a huge social impact, and the potential of international cooperation within ISCA is enormous“, says Jacob Schouenborg.
“ISCA has during the last 10 years developed from an idea to a recognised international Sport for All association. Jacob Schouenborg is a development oriented secretary general, who can ensure organisational development in the coming years – both as leader of the secretariat in Copenhagen and as support for the ISCA Executive Committee”, says ISCA president Mogens Kirkeby.
Jacob Schouenborg will start his new job as ISCA secretary general in the beginning of February.
