ISCA joins the EU Platform for Action on Diet, Physical Activity and Health

On 5 February the European Union platform on Diet, Physical Activity and Health met in Brussels. ISCA joined the platform and thereby assisted the inspiration from the field of physical activity and "sport for all".

 

"Commissioner Markos Kyprianou mentioned at the WHO ministerial Conference on counteracting Obesity in Istanbul November last year, that the European Commission after focussing on the diet aspects in 2006, they will have more attention to the area of physical activity in 2007. We are appreciating this message and are ready to support the process with concrete activities", says ISCA Secretary General, Mogens Kirkeby.
