ISCA Annual Report 2014 Now Available!

2014 was the year that saw a politician riding a bike in European Parliament, 152 cities getting involved in Brazil’s biggest grassroots sport campaign and nearly 1 million people across Europe taking part in more than 4000 physical activity initiatives during MOVE Week. It also saw the corporate sector engaging in an open debate with the grassroots sport sector and the MOVE and ACTIVE Network projects culminating in almost 100 cross-sector partnerships.

And ISCA, its partners and members were the ones who made all this happen.

The equation for successful physical activity promotion is simple, ISCA President Mogens Kirkeby writes in his introduction to the report:

“The better the capacity the organisations have, the better their outreach and, ultimately, the more citizens who will enjoy the benefits of taking part. We know that one size does not fit all. The cultural and historical realities for our members and their partners are very different... That is why the capacity building initiatives we create are diverse and tailored to suit different stakeholders in grassroots sport.”

Read all the stories and find out where to access our tools that are tailor-made for grassroots sport organisations in the ISCA 2014 Annual Report.

The report is available in print and online.
