Moving together in Brazil
Based upon the ideals promoted by ISCA of providing and promoting the participation of common persons ion Sport and culture for All activities, the Federation of Welfare Entities of Campinas (FEAC Foundation) and the Social Service of Commerce (SESC-Campinas), established a partnership with the Faculties of Physical Education from UNICAMP (State University of Campinas), Faculdades Metropolitanas de Campinas (METROCAMP) and Pontificia Universidade Catolica de Campinas (PUC Campinas) to create a pilote project on voluntary work in sports and culture for all.
The Co-Mover campaign is designed to offer sports and leisure activities to children and adolescents from social institutions affiliated to FEAC. During Brazilian summer vacations, 14 volunteers, recruited by ISCA’s Latin American Continental Committee and LAYC and trained by FEAC’s voluntary department, offered workshops in Juggling, Capoeira, Dance, General Gymnastics, Rhytmic Gymnastics, Acrobatics, Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball in 12 workshops in 8 social institutions, totalizing 400 children and adolescents who had, in many cases for the first time, the experience of a different cultural and sporting activity.
Most of the volunteers that acted in the pilot are former participants from the International Youth Leader Education and others from ISCA member organisations in the Campinas.

Call for proposals
Aiming at the continuity Co-Mover initiative, FEAC submitted a project to a “call for proposals” from the Sports Department from Campinas City Hall. Our intention, adjusted to the funds available in this call of proposals, is to receive funds in order to provide 6 “sport equipment kits”, (soccer, volleyball, basketball and rubber balls; volleyball net; ball pump; gymnastics mattresses; ropes and; a sound system). These kits would improve the conditions for more frequent and diversified activities at the institutions. The total amount of funds we were able to apply for, was R$ 16.772,00 (€ 6.050) and the projects accepted will be announced in March, 2007.Physical Education Trainees
Another action proposed to the initial partners is to extend the activities throughout the year, involving students in trainee courses from Physical Education faculties and organizing events within the project proposal, always promoting the participation in sports and culture for all.
The idea is to establish a “living” network of volunteers and organizations concerned with the promotion of all benefits of physical and leisure activities, both to children and adolescents as to their community, families and society in general.
