International folk festivals in Punjab hosted by isca member - punjab cultural promotion council

ISCA member organisation, Punjab Cultural Promotion Council, India, hosted 31 international folk artists, choreographers, musicians, students and dancers from Crete, Greece and Russia for participation in four major international events in Punjab in February 2008:
- Punjab international festival or performing arts, Ludhiana
- Hamrad international folklore festival, Kapurthala
- International mega show at maharaja ranjit singh ppa, pillaur
- Amritsar international festival, amritsar city

Punjab Cultural Promotion Council's director Mr Davinder Singh Chhina delivered the message of ISCA for sports for all and education, peace and development through sports and cultural festivities. "Punjab international festivals are being organised in Punjab every year to spread the message of love, peace and joy, goodwill for all human beings", said Mr Chhina.
