HOW Provide services [ eg care / counseling ]
This club was formed in 1994 with the efforts of Mr. Pawan Kumar ( President ) SURTAL SABHIACHAR & SAMAJ BHALAI CLUB India and Mr. Chaarn Singh( President ) SURTAL SABHIACHAR & SAMAJ BHALAI CLUB England has shown his interest towards this club and spread to Germany and England.


Aim & Objectives:-
1. To develop and promote Punjabi consciousness through art, literature and sports activities including martial arts for self defence.
2. To present the art and culture of Punjab and punjabi as well as other communities.
3. To promote the teaching and learning of punjabi language at all communities in the process of promoting multiracial education in India and England.
4. To encourage and assit in the traning of teachers in art and literature of punjab.
5. To pursue the efforts to create ethnic equality , world peace and third world development through art and literature.
6. To provide resource center where people from punjabi community can meet to seek support , help and encouragement in coping with specific problems they face in terms of isolation , racism and domestic / matrimonial problems.
7. To promote the interests of punjabi community through research and published reports in furtherance of the aims and objectives, and to provide assistance in their use of the welfare and voluntary and non-voluntary agencies.
8. to provide advice on health, legal matters and benefits like social security and housing benefits from Punjab.
10. To provide the help to poor, disable children, poor children those dose not have money to pay their school fees, medical camps, medicine, widows and also arrange the marriages of poor girls.
11. To increase an awareness of relieving poverty and to improve the life conditions of underdeveloped countries suffering from lack of basic necessities of life by providing financial and social help.

ACTIVITIES { PAST PRESENT AND PRESENT }
The Surtal Sabhiachar & Samaj Bhalai Club organized numerous events since its formation in 2004 .
The recent event orgnised was inRaikot distt. Ludhiana Punjab India. on 04-01-2004 , which included competition in
BHANGRA , DANCE
IKANGI , NATAK { DRAMA }

The club is organizing a Bhangra commpitition by the 2005 in England . further information can be found on the charity web site at www.sssbc.org.uk
SCHOOL PROJECT

We are planning to open a school to provide free education poor and needy children in and around Punjab , India . this project will involve the construction of a permanent school bulding for up to 500 student which will be run by the charity. The students will be provided all school supplies . {books , pens , paper , etc. } and uniforms free of cost . in addition to this the students will be provided free meals every day.
We are happy to report that this project is moving ahead. The Surtal Sabhaichar & Samaj Bhalai Club is in the discussion process with local communities to impart an awarness for the need of such a school and coming to an agreement for the selection of the necessary land for building for the school and funding requirement of the project.
FOOD AND CLOTHES PROJECT





Besides distribution of food , the Surtal Sabhiachar & Samaj Bhalai Club also has plans to arrange for distribution of clothes and blankets to children in the villages where we hold our food relief programes . The children in our targetd areas hardly have any clothes to wear. Most wear only an old pair of shorts younger children usually don’t even have that , and often naked . we are in the process of finding sponsors for the distribution of free clothes and blankets for these children.
We are also planning to work in joint collaboration with other local voluntery organisation which are helping poor communities lacking basic education and are deprived of their basic human rights in the rural areas of Punjab .
FUND RASING
The club is planning to orgnise fund rasing activities and will be submitting application to the resources from where finanacial help may be available
